Intro..
Gaming was one of the best hobby a person can find. You spend your time sitting in front of a screen, holding a joystick or a keyboard/mouse, taking up the role in a game and play it to your heart's consent since that's the only time you can do cool stuffs. It has also proved to increase brain activity and improve your mental abilities, as well as providing physical benefits.
Although gaming too much can cause negative impacts, I'll talk about the positive ways i got benefitted by gaming. My gaming history begins way back since I was in my kindergarten. I was introduced to gaming by my elder brother. He played some action-adventure game and when he's not around, I used to sneak in and play the games. I don't remember the first game I played but it featured a long white haired warrior(if you know the name, comment it down below).
The First Console
I used to wait for my summer holidays so that my mom will let me access my brother's old nintendo console. I played some of the best, old arcade games we all grew up playing. Some of those games include Road fighter, Mario, Duck Hunt, Adventure Island, Popeye, Yie-Ar kung fu, Tetris, Pooyan, Front line, Donkey kong jr, pac man, Circus Charlie, Tag team wrestling, Jackal, Ice Climber, F1 race, City connections, Kung Fu, and so many NES games. I still own the console and the chips that the game need to play. I also own the old type joysticks and the gun used to play the duck hunt. I haven't plugged them and played in years since I'm scared of damaging it permanently due to overload or something. The last time I played on them was on 2011, almost 10 years ago and tryst me, they worked. The console alone is older than me(bought on 1995).

When I got to use my brother's pc, I played other pc games like spiderman 2, Grand theft auto, and when I say gta, I mean all the parts included. Surprisingly, my brother played Counter-strike source and global offensive but I never played them. I played counter-strike global offensive only during later half of 2020s, like a year ago. Feelsbadman.
No more PC
Then came a time I could no longer play on pc since it was old and I ruined the pc by entering the booting menu and just clicked random stuffs imagining myself like my brother. He used to do stuffs like that since he's a software engineer and I have this bad habit of imitating something I see to learn and know about it. That is how I learnt to use techs from a very young age, It was all the perks of having an elder brother. Also he never complains about me doing stuffs with the things in his arsenal. And that's how I learnt a lot of things(not just tech lmao).
My brother bought an Xbox One for him by 2016, which he obviously left home for me after using it for like six months since he had to travel alot during that time and he couldn't take it everywhere he went. So whenever my brother buys some new techs, everyone in my family thinks it's for me. That's how I got my dslr, sprocket, vector pet, and so on.

So I did not own a pc during my high school days. I had to wait for quiet a long time to play on the Xbox since my parents didn't want me to play during that time. But still, I played Watch Dogs, Battlefield, Tom Clancy's Division 2, Forza horizon 4. Every game was owned by my brother and I peeked when he typed his Xbox account password and i played on his account. Initially I thought he'll scold me but he never spoke about it and I thought he didn't mind me playing with his account.
Then I left home and stayed in a different city for my college. And I played mobile games back then. Player Unknown's Battle ground: Mobile was a big deal that time and I played that game. And when we invested in the game for in-game cosmetics(skins), the Indian Government banned it, talk about worst luck. I never disclosed it but I spend a couple of grands just on that game alone. When I heard about the ban, I felt like a clown. The biggest disappointment was for the fact that it was on the very same day, early morning, I paid in-game for a subscription plan that is done to buy in-game items. On that day, me and my gaming gang decided to purchase gaming laptops and become pc gamers.
The Unexpected Instant Transition
Soon after, all of us owned a pc(laptop) and we wanted to play pc games. But what game? I installed every single store like steam, epic games, battle.net, gog, origin, ubisoft connect, but never installed a game. We installed valorant and played a couple of games and I obviously sucked and I decided to quit it. Me and the gang played Rocket League and they also dropped valorant. I played counter strike global offensive and I think I played for like 35-40 hours before quitting it too. But that 40 hours helped me play valorant quiet better. So technically, Valorant is my first fps shooter game, but csgo helped me play it better.
